Benet Academy Class of 2019 Posts an Average Composite ACT Score of 29.1

This is the fourth time Benet has posted a composite ACT score over 29 and marks sixteen consecutive years the composite score has averaged 28 or higher.

 All Benet students take the examination during their junior year and the 29.1 composite average includes the scores of all 332 students. Over 50% of the class scored 30 or above, 5 students achieved a perfect score of 36, and 18 students had a score of 35. The Illinois composite average was 24.3 and nationwide the average was 20.7. The ACT test is scored on a 36-point scale and designed to measure the skills needed for success in college-level course work.
