S.A.L.T. is a student
led movement which strives to bring people with common values regarding faith,
friendship and fun together on a regular basis. S.A.L.T. focus groups are
created with the intention to use the various gifts given to faith inspired
teens to build Benet’s Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine family. With
many focus groups ranging from S.A.L.T. Random Acts of Kindness to S.A.L.T.
Prayer, Benet students are responding to the call of God to witness to their

S.A.L.T. RANDOM ACTS
Plans and implements
small acts of kindness throughout the school in a strategic manner which
promotes Gods’ love.
A board of students who assist with the planning and implementation of the freshman
through junior retreats which include: Freshman Benedictine Heritage
Retreat at St. Procopius Abbey and Sacred Heart Monastery, Sophomore Bridges
Retreat, and the Junior Catalyst Retreat.
Student leaders in the S.A.L.T. Sacraments team oversee the liturgical planning
for school Masses, including recruiting, training, and scheduling of altar
servers and lectors. In addition, they assist in the planning of
readings, intercessions and music.
