Digital Education Initiative
With the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year, Benet Academy began the general implementation of the Digital Education Initiative. The school aims to increase both in quantity and quality the amount of student research and collaboration. We also want to help our students learn to be more ethical and organized in the digital world. It is with the guidance of our dedicated faculty/staff and use of the iPad that we believe we will achieve these objectives.

To help parents and students understand the positive changes of the Digital Education Initiative, we have provided links to the left.
  • Digital Education Initiative Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This document provides answers to questions that many in our community have been asking.
  • Benet Academy Responsible User Policy. These guidelines will help keep our students safe while using Benet networked resources.
  • Evergreen Apps. This is collection of interdisciplinary apps that students will find useful in many different classes. These should be downloaded to the iPad before school begins in August for the class of 2018 and 2017 and before incoming Freshmen take Computer Literacy during the summer.
  • Textbooks and the iPads. This link will help with the decision of how/where to buy as well as the pros and cons of print vs. digital texts.
